About Piers
Piers is a professional cartoonist. He began his career as a graphic designer, designing lolly wrappers for Walls’ Ice Cream (Unilever).
Keen to follow his dream of drawing cartoons for a living he moved on to illustrating kids’ schoolbooks as well as creating a comic strip for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) called ‘Stormy Stan the Lifeboat Man’. Ollie & Quentin are characters borne out of that comic.
Piers currently runs Doodle Whiteboard, his whiteboard animation video business and SVG Doodle Whiteboard, his cartoon image library website.
A champion 400m sprinter in his youth, Piers has now swapped his running shoes for an electric unicycle!
Piers has grown up children and currently lives in Manchester, UK with his super-gorgeous wife. They are relocating to Florence, Italy in 2025.
